The council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan resolved in the meeting, November, 1919, to publish the English translation of the newly revised fourth edition of the Japanese Pharamacopeia and asked the committee of publication of our society to undertake this work on behalf of the Pharamaceutical society. We are now able to lay before public the complete English transalation.
